Nature's beauty is abundant at Crain Park!
The Paradise Recreation and Park District (District) proudly serves the Concow and Yankee Hill communities for decades with swimming at the Concow Pool in summer and lovely Crain Park.
The area is undergoing rapid changes and the District would like to understand citizen needs now and in the future for classes, facilities, events, and other community needs.
In addition, the District and the Thermalito Water and Sewer District (TWSD) are exploring potential recreational options at Lake Concow and citizen input will inform a good approach. While this effort is only just beginning, the District will complete a report to identify needed amenities, appropriate activities, potential challenges, and phases.
Over the next year, the District will be collecting survey input and in-person meetings. This will help support an upcoming Parks Master Plan update and other initiatives for the community
Let us know your vision for programs, facilities and the recreational use of Lake Concow that best meets your needs and those of future generations!
