Are you ready for new trails? The Paradise Recreation and Park District is excited to announce that the 20-mile Magalia Paradise Lake Loop Trail trail work is beginning in Spring 2026.
All you hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts prepare for new adventures on the Upper Ridge. The trail will begin at Lakeridge Park in Magalia, run along Magalia Reservoir up to Paradise Lake, with side branches to Coutolenc Park, the West Branch of the Feather River, and Jordan Hill Road, and back down to the Magalia Reservoir.
If you're a nut for exploring the incredible beauty at the intersection of the Cascade and Sierra Nevada mountain ranges on foot or bike like we are, access is on the way! We will also be seeking volunteer help from the community to assist with maintaining trail health.
Our trails program is growing, here are some things to look forward to for both the Magalia Paradise Lake Loop Trail System, as well as Regional Trails:
- Volunteer work party sessions
- Agents of Discovery information
- Training opportunities
- Hiking and mountain biking information
- Events and sponsorship opportunities
- Trail maps
